S.R. DAV Public School, Pundag is a prestigious co-educational institution with a strength of over 2500 students ranging from classes I to XII. The school is situated amidst tranquil surroundings far away from city life.

Established in the year 1987 with a minimal strength of 65 students, it has attained great heights both in academic and co-curricular fields. At present Classes I to XII are running in the newly constructed Building at Pundag.

The school has a well-stocked Library, well-equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology labs and a mathematics lab, a hi-tech computer lab, art and craft room, a sports room and a music room.

Assembly and Moral Education

To inculcate moral value in the students the school starts each working day with the Morning Assembly that includes recitations of Vedic Mantras, devotional songs, patriotic songs, and thought for the day.

Stress is laid on the eternal values of Indian culture. Short speeches are delivered by the students and the teachers on a variety of subjects and important current events. The news is also read by the students every morning. The assembly disperses with Shanti Path followed by National Anthem.
